Home / Smart Meter

Smart Meter

See on your phone how much each circuit in your home or business uses, and get a report that tells you which appliance is using too much.

Diagnosis USD 150

Home with the usage of each area and the live total

What an installation looks like

A clamp on each circuit inside the panel, and a sensor that sends the data over Wi-Fi. The utility meter is not touched.

A report that tells you which appliance is failing

Every appliance leaves a footprint in the data: how much power it draws, how many times it starts a day and at what hours. With that footprint we go from adding up kilowatts to pointing at the appliance.

A typical report says
“Circuit 3 used 90 kWh.”
Ours says
“The fridge starts 38 times a day when 15 is normal. Check the door seal or the condenser.”

A real case: a clinic

Air conditioning took almost three quarters of the energy, mostly during office hours. The recommendation was to review A/C scheduling, temperature and maintenance in that window before replacing equipment.

This case shows the method. It doesn't guarantee another business will have the same breakdown or savings.

Plans and prices

If you want to know why your bill went up, start with the diagnosis. If you want control all the time or your usage is high, permanent monitoring is the better fit.

Energy usage diagnosis

USD150

One-time payment

We install the sensor for about a month, analyze each circuit, review the findings with you and deliver a report with recommendations.

For anyone who wants to know why the bill went up.

On promotion

Permanent smart monitoring

USD350

Regular price USD 425

The equipment stays in your panel: MTG hardware, professional installation, setup and permanent app access.

For continuous control or high usage.

Monthly follow-up

USD11.99

Per month, optional

Every month we send you the analysis of your usage, the tariff tier you're falling into and recommendations, with support.

With permanent equipment you can use the manufacturer's app with no monthly fee.

How it's installed

  1. Panel assessment

We arrange a short check: panel access, nearby Wi-Fi and whether there are solar panels.

  2. Installation

Two to three hours, with no long power cuts. We put a clamp on each circuit.

  3. Live usage

We send you a link to the portal: current usage, history, breakdown by circuit and peak hours.

  4. Report

With the data and your bills we prepare the findings and recommendations, signed by an engineer.

The equipment we install

We work with Emporia Energy hardware and leave it set up with our platform.

Emporia Vue 3 sensor with its clamps

Vue 3 sensor

Goes inside the panel and measures up to 16 circuits plus the main feed. With solar panels, it also shows what you produce and send to the grid.

Emporia smart plug

Smart plug

Measures a single appliance, like an old fridge or a water heater, and tells you how much it uses. Turn it off from your phone or on a schedule.

EV charger

Level 2 charger up to 48 amps when hardwired. It shows the energy used by each charge and is controlled from the app.

Each kWh you save is worth more than it looks

Residential tariffs are charged in tiers. The kWh you stop using comes off the most expensive tier you're paying, not the average.

With ENSA the tier price applies to the whole month's usage: going from 300 to 301 kWh, or 750 to 751, raises the price of every kWh. That's why the report tells you which tier you're falling into.

What you need

  • Authorized access to the electrical panel.
  • 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi near the panel.
  • Permission from the owner or building management.
  • Let us know about solar panels or other special setups.

What the meter doesn't do

  • It doesn't lower the bill by itself: it shows you where to act.
  • It can't separate two appliances on the same circuit.
  • It doesn't by itself confirm an electrical fault or a utility billing error.
  • It doesn't touch the utility meter or its billing.

Frequently asked questions

How much will I save?

It depends on which appliances use energy in your property, which is exactly what we measure. We don't promise percentages: we give you the findings and what each cut is worth on your tariff.

Do you touch the utility meter?

No. The sensor goes inside your internal panel. The utility meter and its billing stay as they are.

When do I see the first data?

You see live usage the same day it's installed. With one or two weeks of data each appliance's pattern shows up, and the diagnosis report is delivered at the end of the month.

Does it work in apartments?

Yes. We measure the apartment's internal panel, not the building's common areas.

What if my panel has more than 16 circuits?

We install a second sensor. Send us a photo of the panel and we'll tell you how many are needed.

What happens when the diagnosis ends?

We review the findings with you and remove the equipment, unless you decide to move to permanent monitoring.
